In allegato il comunicato stampa relativo all’ingresso della società NPC Sporthub Rieti nell’EMCA, presentato ieri sera durante la trasmissione Box And One, dal presidente Giuseppe Cattani. NPC Sporthub is very proud to announce to have been accepted as member of the
family of EMCA (European Multisport Club Association), association that counts
prestigious members as Feyenoord, Bayer Leverkusen, Olympiacos and SS Lazio. The
aim of EMCA is the development and dissemination of sports as a mean of psycho-
physical and moral integrity, promoting the activities of the affiliated sports clubs
operating on European scale through the management of all forms of competitive
sports, recreational activities including cultural entertainment and leisure activities,
events, trips and social events and many other type of physical activity capable of
maintaining the human body in shape. The Association may also encourage the
submission of projects in line with its objectives in international institutions, the
European Union and the countries of origin of the national Multisport Clubs.
Particular attention will be given to projects aimed at the fight against doping,
intolerance and violence, access to sport for people with disabilities, to promote
social inclusion of immigrants and gender equality and good governance as a result
of the osmosis between professional and amateurial practice.

La NPC SportHub comunica con orgoglio di essere entrata a far parte del circuito
EMCA (European Multisport Club Association), un’associazione che vede come
membri, prestigiosi club europei di varie discipline sportive, tra cui il Feyenoord,
BAYER Leverkusen, l’Olympiacos e la SS Lazio (solo per citarne alcuni). Questa
associazione promuove, incarnando appieno lo spirito olimpico, lo sviluppo e la
diffusione di tutte le varie discipline sportive, con pari dignità, per favorire la crescita
psico fisica di ogni persona, basata sui talenti del singolo, e lo sviluppo di una piena
integrità morale.
Un’associazione presente nell’orizzonte sportivo ormai da decenni, i cui club hanno
sviluppato una specifica comprensione delle diverse dimensioni, impatti ed esigenze
delle varie discipline sportive. L’EMCA promuove inoltre le attività delle società
sportive affiliate operanti su scala europea, e partecipa a progetti Europei finalizzati
alla diffusione di stili di vita sani, alla lotta al doping, ad ogni forma di
discriminazione razziale e di genere, all’intolleranza ed alla violenza ed all’accesso
alla pratica sportiva delle persone diversamente abili.
Sono 27 in totale i club che fanno parte dell’EMCA, 70 le diverse discipline sportive
distribuite in ben 19 paesi. Tra questi ci sarà anche la NPC Sporthub Rieti.

Gianluca Martini: “Nonostante l’amarezza e la delusione per il risultato sportivo il
lavoro di crescita del Club non si ferma. In un’ottica di visione europea ed
internazionale e di sviluppo fuori dai confini territoriali, è con orgoglio che entriamo
a far parte della famiglia EMCA che raccoglie le più grandi e prestigiose polisportive
del continente in totale con più di 350 medaglie olimpiche. Siamo tra i primissimi
club di pallacanestro in Italia ad entrare in EMCA e per questo voglio ringraziare
Cristian Fabrizi collaboratore EMCA originario della nostra provincia che vive a
Bruxelles e che ha svolto un ruolo prezioso in questa fase preliminare ma anche il
Segretario Generale Gina Luzzatto e il Direttore dello Sviluppo di EMCA e
Sostenibilità Bojan Mijatovic e tutti i membri del board di EMCA per aver accolto
NPC Rieti in questa associazione. Sono sicuro che lavorando bene ed in sinergia con
le istituzioni e le altre realtà sportive del territorio potremo costruire dei progetti di
grande spessore che legheranno lo sport e la città di Rieti con l’Europa e club di
fama internazionale”.
